I am personally curious on what you think of your Lizard, how it's held up this past year, and your thoughts on support.
I'm sure plenty of you are pissy about the lack of standalone support, other than that I'm happy as hell with my Lizard. How about you?

I have never done any sort of flashing before but i can do a mean phat benq if needed. I love the lizard and yea i would have loved to have stand alone for other xbox models but its not that big a deal for me as I need to be able to read the tutorials as I am flashing. The whole speed thing at the start was never a problem for me as well as i only ever flashed one console a day or even a month. The continued support with gecko and lizard tool box has been good and I hope it continues too. These forums are just fantastic as I do not have to be worried about asking questions and getting flamed like the other forums and for me that was the deciding factor when I choose the lizard.

Things that would be good for newbie flashers would be tutorials that maybe are aimed at beginer flashers as the maximus vids seem more for the experienced guys. the community vids seemed to take a bit more time to explain things which I needed.

I would have no problems in the future to buy a maximus product.

Check out the PDF manuals, VGC and myself have written most or all of them. We may get a little on the "jargony" side but if I say so myself they are incredibly accurate and easy to follow. I also made a few videos but they are more for side project or "my way" hacks. Most of the videos posted on the 360Lizard site are made on a as released basis...lol. So, they aren't very detailed.
I'm glad you are enjoying your Lizard.

I love my Lizard.
When I had to buy something to do flash mod easier I compared some products and It came out that Lizard was the best solution.
Easy to use (it's like a gameboy  ), cool skin and logo, complete (Skorpion) ecc.
I think that the StandAlone mode isn't a necessary... I use always my pc and all ok!
There are some video and forums sayin that the Lizard is slower than the rilvalry... ok but if it tooks 37-40 sec to flash the drive and not 10 sec which is the gain? 30 second.. what a stupidity...
I'm very happy to have Lizard and I hope all Maximus Team will continue in developin' some cool accessories and new features.
I visit ut website and the forum daily to see if there some news.
THANK U ALL!

I love My Lizard. Makes flashing so much easier. Great quality. Its pretty fast, not as slow as those other guys claim it to be. Dont really use standalone much as im usually flashing from home on my PC. But would be cool to have those other standalone features. I use standalone when I travel only. Support is top notch. I dont have to worry about being ridiculed when I come here for help. Happy birthday Lizard. Heres to another year of flashing. Oh yeah gotta get the Breast Cancer Awareness case from VGC that thing is awesome.

I think Lizard is the best flashing tool! In my opinion, the ease of use of its interface and the updateability are the most valuable features. I have flashed only 4 drives, but I found it very easy if you have read previously the tutorials.
As many other users, I don't find totally necessary the standalone mode, because I prefer use my laptop to manage the files. However, it could be only in my case.

To sum up: awesome tool ;-) and excellent community behind these forums that are always ready to provide support to anyone who needs help.
