Hi,
when i get the firmware from my samsung drive, it says vendor not identified.
Could this be because i tried to update my 360 and microsoft corrupted my drive firmware? I get that e66 error thing when i try to update it.

Is there any fix for this? For example, can i flash my samsung to stock firmware then update my xbox?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

vendor not identified <-- means drive firmware is invalid or corrupted

Do you have the drive key?

no i don't have the drivekey or anything from the drive before this.
Does this mean there is no hope for the drive?

It means there is no longer hope for the whole Xbox unless it's an HDMI console and you RGH it
