Hi to the list,
this is my first post on this forum and hope to postin the right section.
A friend of mine own a Power Drop that unfortunately he plugged with the
wire upside down, he saw a white smog comig out so he unplugged it.
Re plug it again on the right way but does not work.
He said that the led lights on but the on/off switch and the eject push-botton does
not work anymore.
I had a loook on the printed circuit for any burned line buto no burned line.
So i tought there was a protection diode but there is'nt.
On the board i can just see two resistors and one Led.
On one Resistor i can read 331 that should stay for 330 ohms but i cannot read the other one.
I would ike to ask if somebody can tell me:

1) How to repair it?
2) Is the resistor i can read correct?
3) which is the value of the other resistor?
4) can the tw resistor be sbstitute with normal ( no smd ) resistors?
5) Is there a way to test the Power Drop also with no XBOX? If yes how?

Any help will be reall appreciated
