Hello i got a iHas 224 from vgc store, i flashed it, connected to a friend`s pc and it stopped reading discs suddendly. It wont even read blank or burned, i reflashed it to stock and no solution, i tried using this (MicrosoftFixit.dvd.Run.exe), and no luck. i dont know what happened i just connected it and stopped working. i even tried the regedit mod a nothing.

I used my iHAS 324 for a little over a week before I encountered the exact same problem. I had to RMA it. Either the drives are junk or the iXtreme Burner Max is the source of the problem.

The EEPROM should be backed up after upgrading the drive to the current stock firmware, but there is no modified EEPROM to write.
