I was happily chugging along when the drive stopped ejecting. That was two months ago.

When I attach the Scorpion 2, there is a red light indicating that the drive is at least receiving power.

However, when I connect the Max Lizard, it cannot detect the drive, so it's possible the drive is dead.

Is there any way to retrieve the FW data, so I can at least flash that to a replacement drive?

you would have to repair drive or transplant the large chip to another drive
