Hi, i purchased a Maximus Power Dongle and have used it for the first time today. I connected it up and after approximately 2 seconds i could smell burning coming from my drive. The blue light on the dongle came on however the drive did not power up and it won't eject. It is now not working at all when i put it back in the console, i also had a spare drive which i have tried and it has done the same. I am very un-happy!!! The power dongle is suppose to have fuses that protect the drive, which it obviously hasn't. Please can someone either advise me why this has happened? Faulty dongle? Have i not done something right? Please help. I have had my lizard for ages now and have not managed to flash 1 drive. many thanks Elliott

have you actually looked at the dongle??? F1 and F2 are the fuses.

Did you plug it in upside down??
