Hey guys Ive had my USB extractor for about 2 years. A buddy needed his V1 74580c Drive flashed..... I have about 10 of these drives brand new in my basement.
everytime I follow the JF tutorial to the T, I get the same error.... " Warning Serial Data is Bad " IDK why? or what is going on. Can anyone explain or help out why this
error is soooooooo painful!!!

hi mate
is this drive a virgin drive or has it been flashed before ?

if virgin make sure the probe point is clean and showing hte copper track for a good connection.

if not a virgin you will have to solder on the switch and do the MRA hack method
unless you have a lizard ;)
in which case you could do the drive in a few mins flat ;)

usually means the USB TX side of the FTDI IC is dead, basically you need the USB xtractor repaired
