Hi,


I have a Jasper 256 MB.


I have bought a 360 Nand Flasher in a shop, they installed it and XBR.


XBR works fine but when I plug Nand Flasher to a PC, it doesn´t work.


The Nand flasher has the green light on and the PC detects it, but when I start Nandpro (or Hack 360) and I try to do a Nand backup, it gives me an error "Could not detect a flash controller" and I can do nothing.


The console is plugged but is turn off.

My Pc Bios config:

Onboard FDD Controller On
Onboard Serial Port 1 3F8/IRQ4
Onboard Parallel Port 378/IRQ7
Parallel Port Mode SPP

Onchip USB Controller Enabled
- USB COntroller Enabled
USB Emulation OFF
- USB Keyboard Support OS
- USB Mouse Support OS

What can I do?

I have tested another chip with another Xbox and it works perfectly with muy PC.

1) double check all your solder joints on modules a and b if using the quicksolder modules.. make sure all points flow from top of pcb down to board and make proper contact.

you say XBR works but my question is how did you get XBR on there if the programmer isnt functioning ?

2) did you install the drivers for nandflasher from 360nandflasher.com > downloads ?

1. I don´t instal the modules, i sent my console to a shop and they install me it.

They install me XBR and works, but when i try to use the nandflasher, my pc doesn´t detect the flash controller.

They have install me another Jasper 16 Mb that works me perfectly, because of it i think i don´t have any problems with the drivers.

i have sent the console to the shop to repair it, because i don´t have idea what is the problem.

EDIT: I have received my console and the problem continues. The shop says that the chip works but in my home it doesn´t.

so with the console one nandflasher will read but the other won't?
