So turns out my spear gave out, if possible, how would I go about using the vampire to read the 7 series liteon drives?

Thanks

on the 360xtractorpro.com web site there is 2 tutorials on using the spears.

All liteon drives should be done using the new method, you should not be using the spear or usbxtarctor anymore.

This is because flashing with the spear or usbxtractor or any equivalent will delete your laser calibraction data, which is why so many people are killing liteon lasers

with LT firmware they discovered there is laser calibration data that tells the drive how much power the laser needs and when. Without this info your laser is being over worked, which is why so many people are going thorugh lasers.

Regardless of liteon firmware version all lite-on's should be dumped 100% using the Vampire or MRA method.

If you already flashed with Ixtreme using a spear or similar your laser calibraction is lost.

Witht he release of LT 1.1 they included OFW for all lite-on so that you can recover laser calib data.

you could simply get your key from the drive, copy it.

Load any 100% dump drive, load LT 1.1 and press manual spoof button and paste your key in there and then write to the drive.
