I wonder if someone can tell me if it is necessary to disconnect all the three ribbons in a Slim Liteon Drive in order to apply the Kamikaze method.

In the kamikaze tutorial no ribbons are disconnected, but I have checked the Macronix tutorial (the other with Trident MX), and ribbons are totally disconnected ... so I don't know if in Kamikaze would be the same ...

i use a solid homemade lpt cable (works with glitcher, 360glitchip and coorunner)
powering it either with 3.3 from motherboard or 3.3 from xtractor (wich works with all chips too)
using 360gc prog to program the stinger.
It does not recognise the chip.

I tried:
on Motherboad: connecting both ground cables do video connector, and 3.3 to point B on stinger.

using xtractor to supply de 3.3v: connecting both grounds to the xtractor ground and 3.3v from xtractor to point B on stinger:

BlueGround -> xtractor ground
RedGround -> xtractor ground

Point B -> 3.3v xtractor

it won't work wither way.

The green goes green but the chip is not recognised

i have installed 5 stinger and working perfectly.
but the speed of glitch it's variable.

i read that using one capacitor,stabilize the time of glitch.

i ask, What value should I use?

in a phat console??

in a slim console??

and the value??

and from.....to??

i read another post that vgrepair suggest use resistor of 10 ohm in jasper console....
for all type of jasper??
jasper 16mb,64mb,256mb or 512mb??

I really compliment the quality of the chip.

I did many jatgs and 2 rgh´s falcon without problems [boots like retail], easy and clean, but this is my 1st jasper and for what i´ve read those mobos are problematics whith that CB, I´ve got to say that i did the entire proccess without any problems, the box is glithing but i´m not happy with times of boot that comes randomly from 4 seconds to 1:30, did u guys known something to get more stability and fast boot?.....
I tried with a bunch of capacitors [valors of 1, 10 , 100] between the cpu reset and ground without any success, always glitch but still random in terms of time.
any hlp or suggestion will be apreciated

I´ve got the stinger on top of the video connector isolated but i´ve tried in other places with same result...
cpu_reset cable is 32 cm long
A_pad is grounded
16 Mb nand CB 6750

I noticed that the stinger lights on the slim blinks periodically when it boots.. on the phat jasper the light is solid.

When I first load up the software it asks me for a BSDL or BIT file for the device. I can't pick yes because I don't knwo what it is.. I put no and it sets a default dummy BSDL. Then I load up trinity.jed. After that I can't program it..

been stuck on this for awhile now and I'm getting impatient.

for my 93450C drive, but someone told me that this does not work any more because my dashboard (2.0.13599.0) has moved the extract point to mpx01 from r707. Is this true?
